Lovely gravel track into the top of the forest.

Nothing more to say other than an attractive row of homes on a fairly quiet road (but a bit of a rat run).

Old Harlow is a town known for a few things, namely its historic buildings, central museum, and brilliant pubs. It's also home to the Gibberd Garden, created by Sir Frederick Gibberd and his wife Patricia. The gardens showcase a number of impressive sculptures and ceramic pots, as well as glades, ponds, and flower-filled alleys.

Gernon Bushes Nature Reserve is a pocket of ancient woodland that is home to many rare marsh plants and flowers. It is the last remnant of the old Coopersale Common that once linked Epping Lower Forest to Ongar Park, the Royal Hunting Forest. Keep a look-out for the rare marsh fern, as well as lady fern, bogbean, marsh valerian, marsh marigold, and ragged robin.
