Very beautifully designed and at least worth a photo. We only stayed there for a very short time, though.

The route coincides with the "Tut-Gut" hiking trail from Rabenstein. The state of Lower Austria has launched a fantastic initiative here, offering well-signposted routes for every taste (see https://www.adventurescouts.eu/noe-tut-gut/).

Lilienfeld Abbey is an important Cistercian monastery in Lower Austria and the largest medieval monastery in Austria. It was founded in 1202 by Leopold VI and impresses with its Gothic architecture. The monastery church is one of the largest Gothic churches in Austria with magnificent stained glass windows and an impressive high altar. The abbey is located in the Traisental, at the foot of the Muckenkogel, surrounded by an idyllic natural landscape. It is an ideal starting point for cycling tours, including the Muckenkogel mountain tour, which offers spectacular views.

Once you are at the top, the view over the landscape is breathtaking
