The name is wrong, it's not the Tizi n'Test! The gradient is moderate, around 10%, with short bursts up to 16% according to the bike computer. The road is mostly good, but there are some nasty potholes that can ruin a fast descent.

This is a large, free parking area belonging to the municipality of Tafraoute, offering very low fees but no permanently available facilities with services (water, grey water/toilet disposal), and it is not a campsite. Smaller campsites are located nearby. However, various services are offered by independent vendors on the site.

Famous narrow canyon cut deep into the red rocks, leaving almost no space for the road next to the river. Only with a wall and added rocks was the road raised above the water level, though at times it will suffer from flash floods and erosion.

At the apex of this horseshoe bend in the Dades River gorge the water has cut through the layers of rocks, leaving the shape reminiscent of a turtle. The size dimension of the gorge becomes most apparent in relation to the tiny looking fields that are terraced along the river, to take advantage of any flat irrigable patch of soil available.

Bab Agnāou (Arabic: باب اكناو), is one of the nineteen gates of the medina (old city) of Marrakesh, Morocco. It was built in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty. While Bab al-Rubʿ was the official entrance to the city, Bab Agnaou gives access to the qasbah, the royal citadel, in the southern part of the medina of Marrakesh. Etymology: The most common theory is that the name Agnāw, like Gnawa, derives from the Berber word for black people. This could have meant the gate that looked south toward sub-Saharan Africa. Other sources dispute this and translate the term Agnāw with a Berber word meaning the mute, hornless ram.
