head to south east corner around dusk for the beat sunsets around. this area is a bird nature reserve for you twitchers.

Nice place to sit and take a breather

Entitled searching, this bronze and steel sculpture was produced as the result of a collaboration between sculptor Lawrence Edwards and book artist Les Bicknell. In all, three sculpted figures were created who are seen discovering, contemplating and understanding the Meridian Line which is represented by a steel ribbon engraved with text by local people, that appears and disappears as it traces the path of the Line through and around the town.

Got a good lunch here, excellent mozzarella and pesto toastie. Very friendly too

This area was difficult to ride on, climbing on surfaces that do not really offer a decent ride line, bumpy and slow, sapping energy and strength. Make sure you have plenty hydration with you as you need to stop here and rest at times

This is a good Aldi's, it is one of their bigger strores compared to many others. Very good selection, loads of parking available

Atht ebottom of the town centre shopping streets, beside Morrisons supermarket, the war memorial can be seen. Illuminated at dusk and an attractive feature to see
