Kamoot refuses to route you along this section of the Promenade, showing it as a footpath. However, the promenade remains a shared use path between Ingoldmells Point and the diversion away from the coast around the golf course.

North Sea Observatory provides wonderful views of the North Sea from withinn the restaurant or outside seating areas.

Skegness has long flat sandy beaches, it is very popular with tourists and locals walking on the beaches or along the promenade. Still and tranquil at dusk on good weathers days, nice to see and relaxing

Anderby beach café is open every day for food, drink and ice cream. They are just off the beach, near the car park, and perfectly suited for a pre- or post-walk snack. They also have self-catering accommodation if you want to stay.

The North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point is a popular visitor attraction looking out to the North Sea. It serves as a visitor centre and educational facility and also has a cafe with a licenced bar. The coastal area around the observatory is home to a variety of wildlife, including seabirds and coastal flora. There are bike racks outside, making this a perfect spot to enjoy a drink whilst looking out to sea with the impressive panoramic views.

The Cloud Bar is the world’s first dedicated cloud observation platform. It's perched on a sand dune with panoramic views of the North Sea and the Lincolnshire Wold hills. It was installed in 2009 by the Cloud Appreciation Society and is free and publicly accessible. Don't be fooled into thinking there's an actual bar here! It's essentially a designed wooden structure which replaced disused beach shelter. On the viewing platform are ‘Cloud Menus’ identifying the different formations, mirrors that can be swiveled to reflect different parts of the sky.

At the entrance to this iconic resort is large concrete lettering spelling out ‘Butlins - Skegness Resort’. In 1936 this was the first Butlins holiday camp to open in the UK, and was given Grade II protected status as a piece of British history.

Fantastic cycleway along the attractive promenade in Sutton on Sea. Picture endless vistas of deserted sandy beach and a collection of multi-coloured beach huts as you make your way down the shore.

Wonderful beach side path with fantastic views out to the North Sea. Although beautiful, this path is exposed to the elements so it may be a battle if cycling into the wind!

The paved path is fenced off around here so you have to use the beach or go round by the road. If you use the beach its best to get nearer the sea (making sure the tide isnt going to cut you off) where the sand is firmer.

Skegness Pier is currently 118m long, but once stretched 562m into the sea. Even so it remains a significant landmark on the coast, and there are plans to restore its full length. As it is now, it's a nice measured 100m sprint along the boardwalks to the pier's end.

Bird Hide No.2 is the hide at the Northern end of the reserve, overlooking the waters on Tennyson Sands.

lovely ride on a summers day, sand piles can make for slippy braking and turning and can get some pedestrians obstructing at busy points.
