Some of the thoughtful sculptures on the pathway

The Water Rail Way route follows the River Witham from Lincoln to Boston. This traffic-free section runs from Langrick Bridge to Boston town centre. It's part of National Cycle Network Route 1 and features some interesting sculptures along the way.

Rising proudly above the Lincolnshire fens, Tattershall Castle, with it's huge windows, was designed to impress and it succeeds! The Great Tower is one of the earliest and finest surviving examples of English medieval brickwork.

St Botolph's Church is better known locally as Boston Stump. The octagonal 81 metre spire can be seen for miles around, even off the coast of Norfolk. The church is the largest parish church in England and has one of the tallest Medieval towers in the country.

This sculpture is called "Nature Magnified’ and is one of four pieces of artwork along the Spa Trail hiking and cycling path between Horncastle and Woodhall Spa.
