Great afternoon exploring Tattershall Castle. with extra highlights of fly pasts of the Battle of Britain Spitfire & Lancaster Bomber. Highly recommended for anyone interested in history. tour can be completed in a couple of hours National Trust members get free entry. free car parking. wheelchair users or those unsteady on their legs will probably find the tower inaccessible. staff were friendly & knowledgeable. We followed NCN 1 from Lincoln to Martin Dales on the form Lincoln to Boston Water Railway Line. The railway lines runs between the River Witham and South Delph. Dotted along the route are various commissioned sculptures and viewing areas. You can see for miles over the fens and waterways.
