パグワースエバラードのおすすめウォーキング＆ハイキングルート

This was a fun section of singletrack to ride into Graveley, along fields and through bits of woodland, with a couple of ascents and descents.

This bridleway runs along fields and was well-rideable on mixed, dry surfaces. Make sure to use the little bridge (see photo) to cross the ditch.

Pretty old church, public footpath over fields gives off road access.

With its picturesque thatched cottages and tranquil book, Elsworth is a lovely Cambridgeshire village. Walkers will find two pubs serving food – the award-winning Poacher and the George & Dragon – as well as a community-run shop. The village is passed through on the Pathfinder Long Distance Walk.

Grassy path, well kept

Good views and a bench to sit on. Downhill is grassy but I managed it even in the winter on a road bike. Connects to other bridleways when you turn right at the bottom of the hill and also the Cambourne to Caxton bridleway which avoids the A1198. Currently very muddy (January 2020). I did get to the end on a road bike although I also had to spend 15 minutes cleaning the bike!!

Good for bluebells and oxlips in spring.

Woodland paths, managed by Wildlife Trust - well maintained, some roots and muddy patches, so off road shoes are required.
