Gunwade Lake at Ferry Meadows is a fantastic spot for a flat and scenic run. If you're a runner, I highly recommend checking it out! The path is wide and well-maintained, and you'll often see lots of other runners and walkers, making it a really friendly and motivating place to be. Narrow, twisty, lumpy, shared use path. Fine for bike tourers or gravel riders, not recommended as a road cycling route.

Southey Woods entrance is now blocked and the car parks that used to be inside the woods are now gone. The barrier at the entrance stops you from driving in. However, you can walk past the barrier and still hike, bike or walk in the woods. It is a popular area for dog walkers and hikers.

Nice spot and good path. Beware of other leisure riders, runners and dog walkers.

Very nice area for walking, cycling and all sorts of outdoor activities, but it might get flooded in the winter and sometimes spring as well so check the water levels, I would avoid it when 2.00 or more. check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/station/6286

Gravel entrance to be taken with caution on road tyres but cafe has covered outside seating which is welcome if the weather isn’t that warm (so most of the time).
