The Nene Valley Railway runs alongside The Nene from Yarwell and Wansford to Peterborough.

Ferry Meadows Railway has been here since the park opened to the public in 1978. The track is laid to a 10.1/4″ inch gauge, it is a very popular gauge for miniature railways as it gives a stable and comfortable ride to the passengers.

I always carry a full set of clubs with me on a ride so this was a fortunate discovery. Route only passable on road tyres in dry conditions, otherwise this is a gravel route.
