Great pub run by Dave and Nic. Great food and company. Stop by for breakfast or lunch. You can park in carpark if you stop for drinks after.

Good climb and amazing views!

With good connecting roads from Manchester and Chester, this is a good accessible ride through the Delamere Forest to the top of Pale Hill. It makes for a good mountain bike ride with great views out over seven counties, namely Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, Shropshire, Denbighshire, and Flintshire. All these are marked by county stones pointing roughly in the correct direction, and there is a larger stone in the middle highlighting Cheshire. The location and views are just super nice.

Stunning views of Delamere and beyond

A good hard packed trail ,very steep in parts but boy worth it for the cracking views and some steep descents

Perched on top of a rocky outcrop high above the Cheshire plain, Beeston Castle is one of the most dramatic ruins in the English landscape. The castle was originally built upon the banks and ditches of an Iron Age hillfort. On a clear day you have spectacular views as far afield as the Pennines to the Welsh mountains. Visit and find out about the castle's 4,000-year history and there is even a 40-acre woodland park to explore. Simply a gem of English heritage.

Entrance to Oulton Park race circuit. As I could hear racing going on I went in the circuit entrance by going over the bridge. You can see cars going around from this area,without actually having to go in.
