Lake Turracher See The largest of the three lakes on the Turracher Höhe is up to 33 meters deep. Its water is of excellent quality and reaches temperatures of up to 20 degrees Celsius in summer. In winter, the lake freezes over. The thick layer of ice supports skiers, hikers, cross-country skiers, and ice skaters.

In a spiritual impulse by Dr. Tobias Schwaderlapp (diocesan youth pastor in the Archdiocese of Cologne), he invited us to "rediscover this: quiet rest with God." I would like to briefly share a central passage from his reflection with the hiker lingering before this small sacred monument: + "One thought has become particularly important to me: praying doesn't always mean having to use many words. Praying can also simply mean resting with God. I sit down, become still (sometimes that takes time!) – and am simply there. Trusting that God is also there. Oberdorf Castle, north front still in ruins Oberdorf Castle is located west of Mariahof in the market town of Neumarkt in der Steiermark, in the Murau district of Styria. The castle has been a listed building since 2021. History The castle was built as a Renaissance palace by Franz von Teuffenbach from 1596 to 1604. Later owners were the Freydenpichl and Strohmayr families.

Hasloberteich is a wonderful gem for relaxation in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park.
