A beautiful little chapel. Unfortunately I couldn't visit it because it was closed and I was there at the wrong time.

This cross was originally situated at Cross Farm, Styal. Around 1860, it was moved by Robert Hyde Greg to Holly Lane where it stood until 1930 when it was demolished in a car accident. The base, thought to be medieval, was rebuilt in 1933 on this site but the upper column remained a truncated stump until 2010. A campaign, instigated by the Styal Village Association, raised sufficient funds to rebuild the upper half and restore the cross back to its original state.

William Temple Memorial Church is a parish church in Wythenshawe, Manchester, dedicated to the bishop William Temple. It is a Grade II listed building, designed by George Pace in the Modernist style, and built in 1964–1965. Norcliffe Chapel is a beautiful Grade II listed church located in Styal, Cheshire. The chapel is nestled amongst beautiful woodland that is shared with the National Trust Quarry Bank Mill estate. Check the opening times of the chapel beforehand if you wish to have a look around, there is some fascinating history attached to the location which is worth an explore.
