It’s absolutely trashed now. Rode in spring and it was rock solid ruts. In autumn it’ll be a quagmire . They’ve blocked 4x4 from using now but dirt bikes still plough it up

Park your bike between the rigs and head in for an all-day Full English. Not sure whether they do avocado on toast and single-origin cold brew coffee though.

Now under new ownership but still a great place to stop in a nice location. Outdoor bike parking which can be overseen from the tables inside. Open 9am-3.30pm (3pm Sun, closed Mon).

Very good cafe and tea room. Good food.

Don’t let the name fool you, although a truckstop this place makes the ideal stop on a long ride. Massive choice of good food hot and cold. Even get a beer if you want. Can lock bikes up round the back.

Great little place. Very friendly and not just for cyclists. Lovely breakfast and coffee. Helpful and welcoming. A great stop. Opens quite early too. Check times

Village shop serving homemade cakes and savoury snacks. Hot and cold drinks. Has a customer toilet as well.

Good quality off road route.

Lovely country pub with good food and drink. Bit pricey but worth it.

Site of an WW2 American bomber base. The old runway and taxiways are still useable. Great for gravel and mountain bikes. Can get busy with dog walkers.

Cyclist friendly pub, plenty of bike storage in beer garden. Good beers and food. Very good pizzas on a Thursday and Saturday!

Cycling friendly tea room. lovely food and cakes. Even has spare inner tubes and some tools if you are in a spot of bother. Open 7 days a week.
