Very well-maintained refuge! Great place to rest!

This newly built hut (2025) is truly a luxurious break spot: a forest sofa, a grill, weather-protected, sturdy tables and seating, and even more benches outside with a fantastic view. Perfect for larger groups, too! A picnic station and a trolley commemorating the basalt mining are also available.

The area was significantly expanded and renaturalized through major clearing and mulching work in October 2024. It is a habitat for rare plant species that have been scientifically recorded.

A new hut is being built there.

Very well done, interesting for young and old.
