Authentically restored heritage railway station - you get a great view from the adjacent road bridge. Appeared in Dad's Army as Walmington-on-Sea station.

Nice view down the wide, sandy beach but the last part of the approach is very steep and there's no barrier at the bottom so caution needed.

The Paston Way between Cromer and Overstrand provides a wonderful location for jogging. You'll follow a mixture of grassy trails and compact footpaths, with a golf course on one side and the beautiful Norfolk coastline on the other.

This pretty village makes a nice place to stop and catch your breath. You can discover its historic church, quaint cottages, and enjoy its breathtaking views over the coast.

This is such a gorgeous section of running along the beautiful Norfolk Coastal Path via an undulating grassy trail high up on the clifftops. You can enjoy uninterrupted views up and down the divine coastline and out to the North Sea, which will be sure to distract those legs from all the hard work.

Great to watch the trains. You might need the stop on the bridge as its a bit of a climb from here.

The cliffs here are a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). On the beach below the fossilised skeleton of a Skeppe Mammoth was found in 1990 so keep watch for interesting finds. Please keep away from the cliff edges though as there is a risk of cliff falls. There is a cafe here at West Runton Beach as pubic toilets.

Cromer has a very 'english' seafront, with a victorian pier, esplanade and backed by grand victorian buildings. Both beaches are blue flag and there are plenty of places to eat and drink should you need to fuel before or after your run.

One of the nicest beaches on the North Norfolk coastline, halfway between Sheringham and Cromer it is often overlooked, however it tends to be a bit quieter because of this.

Weybourne is the only intermediate station on the North Norfolk Heritage Railway. It's been carefully restored and houses a small souvenir shop, railway bookshop, buffet and toilet facilities. There is a footbridge over the tracks to watch the approaching trains. You can also get a great view from the roadbridge, but it's very narrow for passing traffic.

A pier has existed in some form in Cromer since 1391. After various wooden piers were washed away or destroyed by the sea, an iron pier was constructed by Douglass and Arnott, opening in 1901. However, gales and storms continued to plague the pier throughout its history. In February 2012, a large project was announced to improve its sea defences. Today, the pier puts on great shows at its theater and has a restaurant bar. You should check the tide times before you visit. You can find more information, here: https://www.cromerpier.co.uk/

Weybourne to Sheringham is a great section of the North Norfolk Coastal path for running. Very undulating with a good trail surface year round
