When the railways reached this area of Norfolk in about 1900 a resurgence of interest in the area created funds to repair the ruined church. In 1904 the western end was extended and then in 1914 the nave was also extended with a new chancel on the site of the old ruined one.

St Botolphs church in Trunch mostly dates to it's re-build in the early 15th century. An important article is the 16th century font canopy.

Mundesley is a seaside village featuring coloured beach huts, a long stretch of sandy beach, a number of eateries, and a pub. It's a popular spot for holidaymakers looking to enjoy a traditional break away from the hustle and bustle.

Pigney's Wood is a local nature reserve located just north of North Walsham in Norfolk. The reserve is a wonderful location for a stroll, as well as an important refuge for a number of wildlife species including birds, butterflies, badgers and otters.

Paston Way is a 20-mile footpath that spans across Norfolk between Cromer and North Walsham. The footpath provides a lengthy and leafy oasis, which makes for a perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy some nature.

The best view from Mundesley is just out of the village on the coast rode towards Bacton by the entrance to the lifeboat. Here you are on top of the cliffs and can see for miles.

The beautiful Stow Mill is a 4 sailed windmill and a renowned North Norfolk landmark, standing only a few hundred metres from the cliff. Up until 2014 it was open to the public, but it has since been converted to holiday let accommodation, offering guests a very unique experience.

The village grew during the Victorian era after the opening of a railway (which has since gone) when affluent holidaymakers would flock to the village for its fresh sea breeze. Today, the village is still a popular seaside resort and has various holiday chalets, hotels and caravan parks. It also has a popular golf course which was designed by Harry Vardon.
