Atmospheric bridge crossing the North Norfolk Railway Line to reach the coast path. Great views along the tracks, to the surrounding countryside and coast.

Another of Norfolk's many ruined priories. This was a small one and its remaining ruins adjoin the parish church.

The beachside area's little streets limit the traffic and there are plenty of cafes if you want to break your ride by the seaside.

The Temple sits on top of a hill in Sheringham Park, commanding fine views over the stunning Norfolk Coast and countryside that surrounds it. It is a neoclassical domed temple in Greek style and was once part of Sheringham Estate.

Sheringham is an award-winning Blue Flag beach made up of sand with areas of shingle and larger stones. At low tide there is plenty of golden sand for families to sunbathe and explore the rock pools filled with miniature marine life. However, as the tide comes in the beach all but disappears.

Weybourne Priory was a small Augustinian medieval monastic house founded around 1200 AD. It was dissolved in 1536. The Parish Church of All Saints stands nearby.

Depending on the year, the best time to visit to see the rhododendrons is end of April to mid June, with the show peaking at the end of May. Arrive early to avoid the crowds! If you time it correctly, then you can also see the bluebells on the footpath near Weybourne train station

Famous for its vast collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, Sheringham Park is a magnificent and beautiful place to explore. Today, you can climb to the top of the towers and experience breathtaking views of the North Norfolk coast. Be sure to keep a look-out for wildlife as three species of deer can be seen alongside a wide variety of birds and butterflies.The park is owned by the Natural Trust and opening times and entry fees apply. The present church grew from a 13th century Priory of Augustinian Canons, which itself took over the site and building of an earlier church. You can still explore the impressive ruins of the early Norman tower and priory today.

The landscape park and gardens, home to a variety of rhododendrons, woodlands and azaleas, are open to visitors (admission fees) all year round.
