The Heidschnuckenweg (Heid Sheep Trail) crosses the Seeve River over the footbridge, then the marshy valley floor, skirting the foothills of the Inzmühlen Heath and later the Wehlen Heath, where it meets the Wehlener Weg (Wehlen Trail) to Wesel. Caution is advised in wet conditions.

As you can see from the date of my first comment, I wrote it two years ago. The year 2023 wasn't as rainy as 2025. In fact, I drove through a whole section of Este starting from the geographically indicated source. This was the first time I saw water. Before that, it was mostly dry ditches. Here is the long bridge over the Seeve. Before that there is a wooden dam or slatted dam, which could be repaired here and there. The path along the Seeve is very narrow and in places very rooty, so be careful. If you don't dare to take this narrow path, there is a wider path further up.
