Walking, hiking, cycling… you can do loads! It’s breathtakingly beautiful. From solid simple woodland paths to sandy, tricky routes where you really need to dig in - all is available for your pleasure. Pay for parking contactless upon departure from main centre site.

If you still thinking where is a Bike Park with Jumps, this is a best moment to go there, instead of going straight in to Tornado Valey, turn left and follow the road, go straight on crossroads, go straight approximately 200yards, and entrance to the bike park and DH trails its going to be on your right hand side.

avoid peak times like weekends or school holidays if you prefer a quieter ride. Early mornings or late afternoons are ideal.

Clipstone Colliery was sunk in 1922, and these massive headstocks were built to replace the original ones in 1953. At the time they were built, they were the tallest in Europe. They are now Grade II listed.

This 10-foot-high sculpture of a human hand was created by an artistic cooperative called BANK well over 20 years ago. It was crafted as part of a national cycling network project, organized by the charity Sustrans. From afar, it appears to be constructed of metal, however, it’s in fact made from fiberglass.

At the centre of the park is Vicar Pond, a large fishing lake created by the fifth Duke of Portland in the 1870s. In the past the lake has been used for boating and swimming. Today it’s returned to its original use and offers a thriving coarse fishery.
