Quaint village with free car park on Edwins Garth (clearly signposted), the main street running towards Market Weighton.

Opened on 1 May 1865 and served the nearby village of Kiplingcotes. It was built originally for the personal use of a local landowner and MP, Lord Hotham, as an incentive for him to allow the railway to pass through his estates. The station closed after the last train ran on 27 November 1965 along with the rest of the line. The station building, platforms and signal box survive unaltered, as does the station master's house.

Good place to stop for your picnic. 3 picnic tables and someone leaves water out for dogs - thank you

Great cycling themed cafe, good coffee and great food. You can even bring your bike inside!

Small historic church in the Goodmanham region. Due to being close to a road not much sitting area next to church but there is closer to the junction.

Watch out for cows

Cafe Velo has good coffee and inside bike storage.

Unfortunately due to Covid the cafe is now shut

If the weather is a bit wet the trail gets flooded in places and is very muddy

Nice place to stop, or carry on a further mile and a bit to reach Market Weighton itself, has a large Tescos plus a bakers etc

Great place to stop and have a rest if needed
