It was obvious that this section had been particularly muddy and, although it had almost dried out in places, it had been badly churned up by horses and parts were unrideable, however there was a very technical alternative route to one side through the trees.

Crossing the disused railway line - unfortunately the cutting was obscured by trees.

Got caught out following what appeared to be the route only to find the proper, direct route was obscured.

Mixed surface bridleway that includes some double track, path and fields. Most of the surface is ride able apart from one small section where the horses have cut the ground up. Although this section may be ride able if it's dry and you are going towards Eydon.

Of all the buildings in Culworth the Church is by far the oldest.  Standing in the middle of the village for nearly 1000 years we all have a duty as villagers to maintain and preserve it for future generations, in the same way people from Culworth have always done.
