Once a former royal estate, Nystøga is now a beautifully restored guesthouse that welcomes hikers. Its traditional wooden buildings and peaceful surroundings make it perfect for a break or an overnight stay.

The cabin is one of many in Norway and is open to everyone all year round. In addition to a solar system for lighting, it is a great destination for families, as there are children's toys and even books in the cabin - the view is also nice to look out over the small town. The Østerbø mountain farm with its wooden buildings is a nice base for activities in Aurlandsdalen. The building, which dates back to 1740, offers over a hundred beds in the main building and smaller cabins. There is also a sauna facility for overnight guests with their own tent.

The cabin's great location on Mjølkeflaten offers a great view of Øyri and as far as Ofta and Hauge.

Old tenant farm above Fresvik. The trail from Fresvik is steep and narrow in places on the slope. A nice path, but not really recommended in the rain and with children. On the other hand, it is easy to walk via Hof Svea or Middagshaugen.
