The rocky cone of Smaltinden is a great objective for a challenging mountain hike. It's a relatively steep hike but is also well signposted and provides exceptional views, particularly towards the peaks on Tomma.

Good for camping. Toilet and picnic benches and an amazing view. Have to look around for tent spots because it's mostly asphalt.

A very beautiful section through large rocks, like a fairy tale! However, concentration and surefootedness are required. Lots of exposed tree roots that can get your feet caught in them.

This is where the hike to the Smaltinden starts. An information board also provides information about other routes nearby, unfortunately only in Norwegian.

Beautiful, very old church and an old cemetery around it. There is also an old farm directly opposite. There is also a parking lot here and a nice hike to the viewpoint Dønnesfjellet starts here. You can find the whole tour here in my video: https://youtu.be/8dE_GG-pT50
