Near the railway line, you are surprised to discover this imposing building. These are undoubtedly the nearby career offices.

The former mill town of Rebecq still has two showpieces: the Grote Molen and the Kleine Molen. The Great Mill, made of brick and stone, was built between 1858 and 1860 on foundations from the 16th century. Barley, oats and rye were ground with this mill. Today it is a museum dedicated to the mining of purple stone from Quesnast, a commune near Rebecq. Only wheat was milled in the Kleine Molen. It now contains a forge and an old engine room that still works.
