The Devil's Bridge just outside Lüneburg The Devil's Bridge was built in 1893/94, making it the oldest of the 58 bridges in Lüneburg. At that time it was part of a beautification initiative by Royal Chief Forester Hermann Busse. As part of this, the entire Bockelsberg district was renatured and developed.
