The Old Town Hall of Erembodegem is a historic building that was built in 1844-45 as a municipal school and house. In 1937 it was only used as a town hall. The building was completely renovated in 1963-64 by architects A. Cocquyt and W. Lambrecht. The building is a rectangular neo-Gothic brick building with the use of grey lime sandstone for the moldings. It has two floors under saddle roofs and an entrance on the short side. The facades are decorated with pointed arch and round arch wall openings, and the building has a pointed gable with corner pilasters and crenellated turrets.

The Becton Dickinson Rowa factory in Erembodegem, is an important part of the BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) group. This factory specializes in the production of medical technologies, with a focus on medication management and pharmacy automation. They produce various devices and systems that are used in hospitals and pharmacies all over the world.

This beautiful bridge, located in Welle, East Flanders, is unique in the Belgian railway landscape. With a length of 250 meters, it is an impressive piece of craftsmanship. The entire bridge is made of tropical hardwood (tropical azobe hardwood), which combines durability and natural beauty. The bridge is a gateway to the nearby De Wellemeersen nature reserve, which covers a vast area of 65 hectares. Originally there was a steel and concrete bridge, but thanks to smart design, this wooden bridge fits perfectly into the environment. The bridge connects to the Welle and Kappelmeersenpad, a provincial walking route of 11 km through the beautiful flood area of the Dender. The African wood requires no additional treatment and should theoretically last a hundred years. Infrabel invested approximately 950,000 euros in this bridge, 20% of which was financed by the European Union.

Until the merger in 1977, Erembodegem was an independent municipality. During the merger, the municipality was split up, with the two sub-municipalities each being added to another municipality: Erembodegem itself near Aalst and Terjoden near Haaltert. The town hall is now a police station. It is a square building in neo-Gothic style with a double staircase with landing (and crenellated turrets), quite typical of town halls of that time, dating from 1874. In March 2014, the building (and the adjacent school) was seriously damaged by a fire.
