This church is centrally located on the village square. The building is predominantly Classicist in style (away from Rococo and Baroque), only the choir is Gothic. After a fire around 1582, the church was rebuilt in 1607-1608. In 1773 the nave was widened by 3 m and lengthened by 3.5 m according to a plan by brother architect Philip Gobert.
