Impressive castle complex located above the town of La Roche-en-Ardenne

A castle complex that is definitely worth seeing. The complex is relatively well preserved considering its age and offers a wonderful view of the city. The information for visitors is multilingual and well prepared.

A must-see is this steep part of the Ourthe Valley, bucolic and ideal for climbing, as well as the memory of Charles Quint in the ruins of the Lognes castle! Hiking there is a varied pleasure between the relaxing banks of the river where fishermen and kayakers compete, and the impressive rocks to be bypassed by steep paths. Located on the banks of the Ourthe River, the village of Durby is picturesque thanks to its rich history and remarkably well-preserved architecture. It is considered the smallest village in the world. The downside is that it attracts large crowds during the summer months.
