The Basilica of Saint-Hubert, a famous place of pilgrimage in honour of Saint-Hubert and recognised as an exceptional heritage site of Wallonia, captivates visitors with its majestic appearance and elegance. Its silhouette rises amidst a beautiful frame of Ardennes forests. It is a spectacular witness to the dynamism of a Benedictine abbey closed by the French revolutionaries. Several abbey churches, increasingly larger, followed one another, both for monastic life and for the devotion of pilgrims. While the first foundations date back to the 7th century, the current building was mainly built during the 16th century. The basilica is a real history book on architectural evolution, from the Romanesque style to the exuberance of the Gothic and Renaissance. The Baroque facade from the early 18th century contrasts with the interior, where the light makes the colours of the materials so intense: blue, yellow, pink stones, marble and wood.

This legendary café is one of the few places to eat that you will find in the area. At the end of your bike ride, you can quench your thirst at Café Le Baudouin and even satisfy a little hunger. To make sure you don't miss your chance to have a drink at Le Baudoin, here are the opening days: Thursday / Friday / Saturday / Sunday and Monday.

Combination of 2 walks from Redu. The start begins with the blue walk. This sometimes goes quite steeply downhill to the Lesse, which has a steep drop there. Below we then go onto the yellow walk over a small "ruisseau" via a (rickety) bridge. The walk runs from there (loop-shaped) completely through the forest, back to the bridge. From there back over the bridge and onto the second part of the blue walk. That part runs on asphalt through the village of Lesse and uphill again just past the ESA space centre, from where the end point Redu appears again.

The walk starts from the book village of Redu. The walk is called Passage des Chèvres and is perfectly signposted. The start is near the ESA space centre and at Séchery you end up in a beautiful forest. During the hunting season you should definitely keep an eye on the dates of the hunt. The route runs almost entirely on natural paths.

The Abbot's Palace in Saint-Hubert can be found on the Place de l'Abbaye. This magnificent palace was built in 1729 under the leadership of Abbot Dom Célestin de Jongh. The palace is really large and extends over several wings. In total, there are three courtyards where there is normally only one. Today, the Abbot's Palace is used by the state archives of the province of Luxembourg. Exhibitions are also regularly held there and then the palace is open to the general public.
