🌄 Highlights of the route Length: approx. 1.14 km Elevation gain: about 10 m uphill and downhill Road surface: Perfect asphalt, ideal for road bikes Landscape: Gently rolling hills, open fields, and sweeping views – especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset Connection: The road connects Margraten with the Eijkerweg towards Sibbe – one of the most beautiful north-south crossings in the region 🧭 For cyclists The route is part of several popular tours, e.g. E.g.: "Hoebesweg Klim – Bemelerberg Loop" from Maastricht Randwyck (approx. 31 km) "Bommerig – Bemelerweg Loop" from Margraten (approx. 47 km) The climb on the Hoebesweg is short but steep: 0.5 km with a 3.6% gradient, with the steepest 100 meters at 8.4%.
