教会は元々1474年にルネサンス様式で建てられました。その後、1643年から1683年の間にバロック様式で改修・増築されました。 この際、向きも変更されました。 この教会はFAIによって登録されています。 現在のピンク色のファサードは、17世紀の典型的な様式で、2つの階層に分かれ、シンプルなイオニア式柱頭とガーランドを備えたピラスターで区切られています。 バロック様式のポータルの中心には、大理石のレリーフに聖体顕示台が描かれています。 ポータルの上、ニッチには聖ペテロの像があり、さらに上にはバロック様式の四葉窓が内部を照らしています。 ファサードの頂部は、両端に2つの尖塔が隣接する曲線的なペディメントによって構成されています。 木製のドア（20世紀）は「教会の大母マリア」に捧げられており、彫刻家イタロ・ベルナルディーニの作品です。
