A charming lake located in a basin just above the small town of Ventasso Laghi, easily accessible from here via a forest road. It is of glacial origin and can be explored along a beautiful trail. From here, several trails lead to Mount Ventasso.

It can also be done on gravel; it doesn't present any particular difficulties. Be careful of the mud if it has rained recently.

La Pietra is a very suggestive place, it is so particular that you can immediately recognize it even from afar, from its summit you can enjoy a unique view of the surrounding mountains. Climbing up on foot is not difficult following the paths, about 40 minutes from the parking lot below. It is also an important destination for those who practice climbing, both as a gym for beginners and experts. At the base of the mountain there is a hermitage that can be visited, built attached to the rock, but you need to find out if it is open. At La Pietra there are two places near the parking lot where you can stop to eat, a simpler one frequented by climbers and another that is a real restaurant with a beautiful terrace facing south, from which you can see the "Giant".

With a small detour from the Appennino Bike Tour, you can get there via a cycle path. Recommended.

Ruins of an ancient and imposing fortress, dating back to the 19th century, located on a hill overlooking the surrounding lands. When the air is clear you can observe the plain, the Modena and Reggio Emilia areas, on one side and the Ventasso, Cusna and Cerreto mountains on the other.
