Parish Church of St. Nicholas, Laterns Relevant dates of the church: 1411: Construction of a small chapel, 1500: construction of a larger church, 1673: expansion of the existing church, 1892: restoration of the church. The wonderful wooden ceiling on consoles is adorned with five paintings by Alfons Luger (1901). A special gem can be found in the front window on the right: a small pane with an image of the Immaculate Conception from 1507. The baptismal font, an octagonal blind tracery, also dates from the same period. It was returned to its original position inside the church during the restoration and is once again used for baptisms.
