The name derives from a legend that tells of the discovery of the breast of the Virgin Sant'Agata right in this place. This stretch of road from Baia Verde to Canale dei Samari has been forbidden to cars since 2022 and the white beach and crystal clear sea make the place spectacular. The road passes very close to the dunes, so be careful with road bikes as the wind can accumulate sand on the path.

The Palude del Capitano is a protected natural area located in the Porto Selvaggio Park, in Salento. It is a spunnulata, or rather a collapsed sinkhole that houses a body of brackish water fed by underground springs and the sea. The swamp is not clearly visible from the provincial road, and to enter the protected area you travel along paths that are not very easy for racing bikes.

great road right on the coast. Super nice view of the sea. Road is in good condition for the most part, a few holes in the asphalt in places. Relatively little traffic at lunchtime. Especially on Sundays there are always many local cyclists out and about.
