Route followed to arrive at the Ciolo bridge which surmounts a high rocky inlet with some sea caves.

Canale dei Fani is a karstic valley located between Pescoluse and Torre Pali. It is an ancient river bed, now dry, which was formed by the erosion of the limestone rock. The canal is rich in Mediterranean vegetation and historical remains, and is a suggestive and fascinating place, perfect for an excursion on foot or by mountain bike.

Cross the gully of the same name, a natural oasis rich in unspoiled biodiversity. For those who want, there is the opportunity to detour along narrow paths suitable for trekking rather than cycling. It is to be hoped that anyone who ventures into the gully enters on tiptoe and is aware of crossing a unique naturalistic / historical heritage enclosed in a few hundred meters in an ecosystem as beautiful as it is delicate. All this must be preserved from disrespectful attitudes.

Very particular rock complex, known above all for the presence of a rare dovecote in the cave (for some from the late Roman period), with hundreds of small cells dug entirely into the rock.

Reaching the caves is simple: at a certain point on the path you will find yourself at an intersection, where a sign indicates the narrow branches that deviate from the main path to reach the first cave. The path to get to the caves is steep and downhill, so it is better to lean on the wooden protections that accompany the path. At this point you will reach the entrance to the caves: huge and incredible natural cavities, made of friable and porous stone, which contain a piece of human history inside. In fact, there are many traces left by our ancestors, including pebbles with particular engravings and with an unknown meaning.
