Castro Marina is one of the most beautiful inlets along the coast from Otranto to Leuca. It is here that the famous caves open on the rocky coast, north of Castro. Among the most interesting and well-known are the Zinzulusa Cave, which takes its name from the local dialect "zinzuli" or rags hung out to dry, represented by calcareous concretions.
