Currently not in operation! Just a few years ago, the entire site was very nicely renovated, then in February 2026, insolvency was surprisingly announced and it was closed very shortly afterwards - 30 employees lost their jobs.

A solid, covered rest area along the trail, complete with trash cans. It's nice to be able to leave your trash there.

Original fish-shaped privacy walls at the edge of the Vaschvitz holiday home complex. They don't fulfill their intended purpose, but that's fine with us; they're a nice eye-catcher.

A beautiful path along the reeds. Occasionally, beautiful views when the reeds aren't too high.

There is also a pumping station near the small bridge. This spot used to be a railway bridge, as this section of the trail was part of the narrow-gauge railway line between Bergen and the Wittow ferry until the early 1970s.
