The tour is really beautiful, but at least at the beginning of March 2025 it is not completely accessible, as a third of the way through the river crossing is not possible due to a missing bridge. Unfortunately, we had to turn back. Furthermore, the journey there was an adventure due to poor roads and storm damage.

Waterfalls of impressive height, especially when observed from the highest pool. It is possible to bathe in both pools in summer.

Historic place immersed in lush nature in the Serre park

This is a beautiful artificial lake immersed in the lush nature of the Serre Park. It is a place suitable for all skill levels, and it is also possible to visit it by bicycle.

The Guida hydroelectric power station, located in Bivongi, was the first in Southern Italy, inaugurated in 1914. Founded by the company Avvenire Società Idroelettrica di Bivongi, it supplied energy to neighboring municipalities until its closure in 1953. Today, renovated, it is a museum of hydraulic energy.

It takes its name from King Ferdinand II of Bourbon who used it from the first half of the 1800s. Subsequently, an iron and steel pole was created in this place which included the ironworks, some offices, barracks and stables.
