These markings are truly impressive!

A 13th-century choir tower church, a plastered quarry stone building with a recessed choir and apse. A square choir tower with a pointed spire. Inside, a remarkable sandstone baptismal font with a wooden lid decorated with angels, an epitaph altar from 1658 by Andreas Deyer, and a pulpit made of Rochlitz porphyry are worth seeing.

The altar slab (mensa) belonged to the Grimma monastery church since 1686 and has been at home in the Evangelical Lutheran City Church in Trebsen since the 1990s.[

Numerous epitaphs are on display, including the relief tombstone of Judita of Trebissen dating from the first half of the 12th century, figural tombstones of patron saints and parish families, and a life-size crucifix (around 1500). The stained glass windows in the chancel, dating from 1912, depict the Risen Christ and the Wiede family, the founders and manufacturers. The former sacristy houses a war memorial with a Pieta from 1923 and a stained glass window from 1953.

The church tower was built in 1552 on the west side of the church and burned down in 1729, with the rectory also suffering fire damage. It received its onion dome in 1731, built by master carpenter Johann Gebhard of Trebsen. The interior of the church was furnished in the Baroque style after 1700. A special feature is the large-format oval ceiling painting from 1701 depicting the Ascension of Elijah; this work of art was created by Johann Nikolaus Wilke.

Trebsen Town Church is a large Romanesque hall church dating back to the 12th century, with a late Gothic choir with a three-eighths end from 1518. The building is a plastered quarry stone structure with buttresses, tracery windows, and a high gable roof. The sacred building is a stone testament to nine centuries of Christian architectural, cultural, and ecclesiastical history in the region. It is characterized by Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, Classical, and Historicist styles.

The Trebsen town church is the sacred building of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony in Trebsen/Mulde near Grimma in the Saxon district of Leipzig.
