カステランツァから始まるヴァッレ・オローナの自転車歩行者専用道路は、主にオローナ川の堤防沿いの協同組合道路を通りソルビアーテ・オローナまで続いており、ヴァルモレ鉄道の廃線跡とは反対側の谷に位置しています。

Beautiful cycle path along the Olona River. Several points of interest: the Torba Monastery (FAI) and, with a short detour, the Castelseprio Archaeological Park with the beautiful church of Santa Maria Foris Portas.

Unfortunately, two trees have fallen, permanently blocking the trail. It's virtually impossible to continue by bike beyond the second one. Alternatively, the road bypasses this section.

Colle San Maffeo, with a fantastic view (the climb through the woods is very challenging in the first section due to the steepness and loose rocks, at least for those with a strong body)

A smooth route with no significant elevation changes, suitable for everyone. The connection with the Lanza Valley cycle path is under construction, but unfortunately, there is a lot of asphalt.

Enchanting... you get there after a nice climb... but what a view ❤️

from here you can indulge in relaxing walks and very interesting MTB trails... even a stretch of almost DH (hidden and for a few 🤫)

This incredible and extremely high level engineering work is so colossal that it can be admired even from the top of the Colle di S. Maffeo
