In 1951, the family of Gianni and Giorgio Robustelli founded Ibis ceramics. Since the 1960s, with the establishment of the Cun-Art Cultural Association, the former lime kiln has become a meeting place for world-class artists. Among the illustrious signatures remaining at the Fornaci are those of Fontana and Burri, Guttuso, Baj and Schumacher. Piero Chiara also came to enjoy himself at the Fornaci, so much so that he left a collection of plates, painted by his hand and destined to be reproduced on the covers of some of his novels.
