Waterfalls where you can swim in the warmer months, reachable from Ferdinandea via a panoramic trek or from a rest point in 30 minutes

Waterfalls of impressive height, especially when observed from the highest pool. It is possible to bathe in both pools in summer.

The Guida hydroelectric power station, located in Bivongi, was the first in Southern Italy, inaugurated in 1914. Founded by the company Avvenire Società Idroelettrica di Bivongi, it supplied energy to neighboring municipalities until its closure in 1953. Today, renovated, it is a museum of hydraulic energy.

The hike from Ferdinandea is much harder than the hike from Bivongi.

The Marmarico waterfall is the highest waterfall in the southern Apennines (with an overall height of 114 metres) and can be reached from both Bivogni and Ferdinandea.

The Marmàrico waterfall is the highest waterfall in Calabria and in the southern Apennines, 114 meters high, located in the territory of the municipality of Bivongi, in the upper course of the Stilaro river, in the Folea valley. Inserted from 6 September 2011 among the "Italian wonders".
