The Inn River divides the town of Schwaz.

Nice place lots to see and do.

The Zillertal Railway bridge also crosses the river, and the cycle path is a small gem of old railway engineering. Caution cyclists: Heading into the valley, the cycle path makes a 90° turn to the left directly at the end of the bridge, then immediately turns sharply and steeply 180° to continue under the bridge and further into the valley. So brake in time!

There are passes with fewer vehicles, but there are also passes with even more. In any case, a beautiful mountain backdrop.

A beautiful climb from Zell am Ziller. The ascent can be divided into three sections, each approximately 8 km long. The first section climbs through Hainzenberg through several switchbacks until it levels out. The second section is a gentle climb to Gerlos with minimal incline and some gentle downhill sections. Leaving Gerlos, the route becomes steeper again. Passing the reservoir, you reach the Gerlosplatte, from where it descends again.
