Trail EE. Nothing too difficult except for the steep slopes and a secured section. Always be careful, especially on scree.

This trail, in my opinion, is less technical than the Foppe trail, but it does have an exposed section in a gully. This section isn't difficult, and the rocks offer plenty of handholds and excellent grip, even when wet; it's equipped with a rope. This short, dangerous section has earned the trail an EE rating.

This is the easiest path to climb to the Rosalba refuge.

Parking in Ballabio for the whole day cost about 5 euros, and from there, it was a steep climb straight away along the path through the forest and up the mountain until reaching the summit at 2,180 m. A spectacular experience. It took about 3 hours to get to the top. And the descent took another 3, but it was worth it. There is no shelter, so bring a packed lunch. Not for beginners! Expert level. Elevation gain: 900 m.

Trekking shoes absolutely necessary; route suitable for those who are already a little familiar with the mountains...
