Varenna is the hub for ferries on Lake Como. Taking bicycles is no problem, but the seating directly at the loading ramp takes some getting used to. Prices are moderate, e.g.: Varenna-Belaggio 🧍🏻‍♂️+🚲=€5.60.

Beautiful old Italian town on the shores of Lake Como. It's best to lock your bike at the ferry port (where everyone can see it and it's guarded) and explore the town on foot.
