The circuit around the lake is about 8-10 km long and can be cycled comfortably. The level of difficulty is easy to medium, the route is also suitable for beginners and families. It is mostly flat, but there are a few small climbs. There are fantastic views of the Grünten, the “guardian of the Allgäu”, and the surrounding Alps. There are numerous opportunities to take a break along the shore and enjoy the great impressions.

There are mountain bike routes around the mountain. The Grünten also has cultural and historical significance for the region, which makes it a special symbol of the Allgäu.
