Continue on the cobblestone path uphill to the cemetery. Take a right and at the stop sign go down towards the Edison station and then take the Adda cycle path again. Be careful on the final downhill stretch for about 200m. There are sloping stones, so humidity can make the difference.

The Adda river is fascinating with a wonderful cycle path that takes you from the center of Milan to Lecco, on the lake. The Brianza side is not difficult and without particular difficulties, vice versa the Bergamo side is incomplete but above all wild and difficult, with sudden ups and downs on stony paths, roots and crumbly soil which, if wet, is very dangerous.

The Adda cycle path is a system of approximately 135 kilometers that connects various cycle and pedestrian routes along the banks of the Adda river. The route starts from Lecco until reaching Castelnuovo Bocca d'Adda where the watercourse flows into the Po river. The surrounding territory is protected thanks to the presence of two regional parks. The route is not only fun and varied but is also rich in history. Leonardo Da Vinci was very involved in the management of the waters of the Adda while Milan was at the service of the Sforza, while the five hydroelectric power plants present in the northern part testify to the importance that this river still has today in the economy of the region.

The San Michele bridge, also known as the Calusco bridge, Paderno bridge or Röthlisberger bridge, is an icon of Italian industrial archaeology. Located in the gorge of the Adda river, it connects Paderno d'Adda and Calusco d'Adda and is an iron arch bridge for mixed rail-road traffic, now open only to road transit. With over 100 meters of height above the waters of the Adda river, the bridge offers a spectacular visual impact from the top. Its fascinating structure and the history linked to the region make it a point of reference along the Lecco-Trezzo d'Adda route. A recognized masterpiece, the San Michele Bridge represents a significant testimony to the local industrial history.
