Among the many natural beauties of Cilento, the Capelli di Venere waterfalls in Casaletto Spartano deserve special mention. The Capelli di Venere waterfall is formed by the Bussentino, a tributary of the Bussento River. Casaletto Spartano is a small village in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. It is located at almost 500 meters above sea level, on a bank of the Bussentino stream, which forms the Capelli di Venere waterfalls nearby.

The Capelli di Venere oasis is a natural area famous for the waterfall fed by the Bussentino stream. The water flows over a rock covered by the maidenhair plant, a kind of delicate-looking fern. The entrance to the oasis is paid.

The Sentiero Tufara is a path equipped with numerous information panels inside the Oasi Capelli di Venere which runs along the course of the Bussentino stream to admire the biodiversity and natural beauty of the place.

Tortorella is a small village perched on a hill that falls sheer into the gorge carved by the Bussentino stream. A path leads to the heart of the gorges for an excursion on foot, and from the village you can admire Mount Bulgheria, Gelbison, Cervati and Serra Lunga, the main Cilento mountains.

Near Casaletto Spartano, the "Capelli di Venere" is a suggestive small waterfall created by a source of water that flows along a thick wall of moss. There is an entrance fee and there is a picnic area along the Bussentino stream.
