Rifugio Antonioli is located in the Mortirolo Pass region in Lombardy, at an altitude of approximately 1,750 meters above sea level, near the mountain lake Mortirolo. Formerly a malga, or shepherd's hut, used for grazing and cheesemaking in the summer. The Schiazzera refuge is an excellent summer and early autumn refreshment point (in 2023 it is open until the third week of September, on weekends). There are tables where you can take a break while looking at the view or when it is open you can eat excellent dishes cooked by the volunteers who run the refuge. Very recommended as a point of passage or even of arrival (you can stay overnight, with reservation).
